Doctor Dale Posting His Own Words

Believe..
Letters.
Over.
Gossip.

Valentine’s has come and gone. It surprised me the flowers that showed up. Some yellow, some white,, some pink. People are very generous.

David helped me and got a box of chocolates for Helen. She shared them widely.

I wish you could see my setup. I am in a hospital bed in our playroom.. On the bed is a table on which is a keyboard.. I have a 10 inch stick held by both hands with which I punch the keys. I have lost the ability to move my arms away from my body so there is an elastic band from each wrist to assist in reaching the keys.

Helen is taking superb care of me. She has help from 11 to 7 five days a week . But even then she’s overworked. Rachel has been here everyday, and so is David when he’s not working.

Write often.

Dale

Looking spry as ever on the computer Dr. Dale. We love your family, and you are certainly in our prayers.

Dr. Dale, your efforts to communicate with us are wonderful! We love you all and pray for each and every one of you during these difficult days. You all are an inspiration to each of us and we love you. We went to see the Taffetas tonight at The Dixie and I thought of you and Helen and how much you would have enjoyed their show. I will always remember the "SENIOR CITIZEN" Big Band Concert with you and the Anderson's. The youngest I had felt in years!

I'm not sure that the keyboard's warranty is still good if you are beating it with a stick. However, we're glad to see you typing by whatever means necessary. Dennis Watts

Dr. Dale,
You look great! The boys pray for you almost every night. They are really little prayer warriors! They want to come to Ruston soon to see you and Mrs. Helen - but we have to get over our sniffles first! Love to you both - Jenny

P.S. I think the contest should be foot/leg massage!

Dad,
Wow thanks for the picture. I have been trying to imagine your setup. Jackson had his birthday party. Pictures coming your way!

Hey Daddy,

Great picture. I was imagining how you were typing and now I don't have to do that any more. What a set up! I can't wait to see you in person next Saturday. Love you all. Gotta go grade!

Dearest Cuz.

What a treat to see you at work! What a noble profile! Must be familial, no?

During my prayer times,I say to you in the spirit, "In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk!" Then I think to thank God for this answer. Now I can more easily vision the answers to my prayers because this pic shows you sort of up half way already. Jesus healed every one who came to Him. Goodness knows there are a lot of us who are coming to Him on your behalf. We shall all keep the "coming to Him" up until the miracle happens.

I remember that last walk we had with you while we were reunioning in Estes. Were'nt we just turning around when a passing car splashed mud all over your pants? You accepted your new blemish with grace and without whining. You are embracing this malady with the same grace.

It's such a pleasure to know you, Dale.
Joy,
carol

P.S. Since massage is my passion, you are getting one from me as I use my very long arms to reach you.

Hey Doc,

David sent me your blog and I am so glad to be able to keep up with how you are doing. I know that Tennessee is too far away to come visit you often or participate in the contest but prayer can close that gap. Know that I am praying for your miracle! Thank you for always making me feel special.

Love, Sherri Walters

Doctor,
Your simply amaze me with your attitude. It was so good to get to see you a few weeks ago. With Granny, David, and Rachael there, you are in good hands. Just know that you and your family have meant so much to me for the past
26+ years. You have alot of people praying for that miracle up here in Montana. Don't let Granny make you watch CMT all day.

Hi Uncle Dale! And hi to everyone else there...Aunt Helen, David, Rachel, Wesley, Aaron. Would you believe that this is my first blog post ever? You're helping me to learn something new here. :) I so enjoy reading your blog and keeping up with how you are and what's going on in Ruston. Now that I've figured out that it's not so hard, I'll post more and do a better job of keeping in touch! I love you and am thinking of you and praying for you every day.
Love,
Beth

muDear Dr. Dale,
I love you and I might see you soon. I loved when my mommy went to Ruston and she saw you at the hospital and we are watching NEMO right now and it has a scary part. And I went to Ruston when I was in my mommy's tummy and I want to come there in real life and I am chewing gum right now. I'm thinking about you and I'm done.
Love,
Samuel Watts
